This website is operated by Silkroad Labs ("we", "us"). We keep data collection to the minimum needed to understand traffic and, in the future, to fund the studio through advertising. This page explains what is collected, why, and what your choices are.
Cookie consent
When you first visit, no analytics or advertising cookies are set. A consent bar lets you accept or decline; your choice is stored in your browser (localStorage key slabs-consent) and respected on every page. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which will show the bar again.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-M2KR1TDSYV) to understand which pages are read and where visitors come from. Analytics runs in Consent Mode: until you accept cookies, no analytics storage is used and only cookieless, aggregated signals may be sent. Data we see is aggregated — we cannot identify you personally. More: Google Privacy Policy.
Google AdSense
We are preparing to serve ads via Google AdSense to fund development. When ads go live, Google may use cookies or device identifiers to serve and measure ads — only if you have accepted via the consent bar; otherwise only non-personalized, cookieless ads may be shown. You can manage ad personalization at Google Ads Settings.
Server logs & hosting
Our hosting provider automatically records standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, requested page, timestamp) for security and reliability. These logs are not merged with analytics data and are deleted on the provider's regular schedule.
What we don't do
- No accounts, no tracking across other websites by us.
- No sale of personal data.
- No newsletter or marketing emails — we don't collect email addresses.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete personal data concerning you, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Since we hold essentially no personal data ourselves, requests regarding Analytics or AdSense data are best directed to Google via the links above — but you can always reach us and we'll help.
